EXCLUSIVE: Shaunie O’Neal Says Her Fiancé Keion Henderson Will Not Make An Appearance During Season 10 Of Basketball Wives

She chatted with BET.com about her VH1 series, the ladies of the show and more!

Shaunie O’Neal and her Basketball Wives franchise has returned after Season 10 premiered on Monday (May 16).

After announcing that she and Texas Pastor Keion Henderson had gotten engaged on Nov. 11, 2021, Shaunie chatted with BET.com about why fans will not see Henderson on this season of the VH1 reality television series.

“No Basketball Wives,” she says, when asked if Henderson will make a special appearance on the show. “Nope. Nope. Nope.”

And when asked about their love and relationship, Shaunie glowed saying that he makes it easy.

“I know that probably sounds corny but it’s true. He just makes it easy to love him and love our relationship. That doesn’t mean that everything is always perfect,” she shares. “I don’t know if I’ve ever been in a relationship where I’m just like “Gosh, it’s just easy and you know, we’ve figured out a way to communicate through any obstacles that come up. You just learn a rhythm.”

“I think that it has to do with maturing in life as well,” she adds. “I’m not saying that anybody was bad or past relationships were just horrible. It’s that you don’t know. I don’t know what I know now.”

As the executive producer of the show, Shaunie says that she believes that the secret sauce to Basketball Wives’ loyal fanbase is simply displaying the cast in a way that makes it relatable to viewers.

It’s all relatable in some area of everybody’s life.”

“I really do believe that’s what keeps us going. Of course people like a good moment of TV and there might be a table flipped,” she laughs.

The MVPs of past seasons will be front and center for Season 10, fans will follow OGs Shaunie and Jackie Christie, as well as Malaysia Pargo, Jennifer Williams, Brandi Maxiell, DJ Duffey, Angel Brinks, Brittish Williams, Brooke Bailey, Nia Dorsey, and Noria Dorsey-Taggart.
