Tiger Woods Leaves Recovery Facility After 3 Months

Insiders revealed the athlete successfully finished his international health regimen to focus on his upcoming court dates and pain management.

Tiger Woods is back on home soil after spending the last several weeks at a rehabilitation facility in Switzerland.

His return comes nearly three months after a single-car rollover crash on Jupiter Island, Florida, led to his arrest on charges of driving under the influence and refusing to submit to a urine test. Woods pleaded not guilty to those charges on March 31 and quickly announced he was stepping away to enter a private program to focus on his health.

His international recovery program was structured as a three-month stay, but Woods paused his time overseas in mid-May to return to the United States. Insiders told PEOPLE that he made the quick trip home to support his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

While he was back in May, Woods also made sure to attend Trump's daughter, Kai, at her high school graduation. Sources close to the golfer shared that he is a big family guy and wanted to make sure he was there for the milestone before heading back to finish his care.

It has definitely been a busy stretch for Woods, with his physical healing and upcoming legal battles. According to arrest documents from the Martin County Sheriff's Office, deputies found hydrocodone pills in his pocket during the March 27 arrest and noted multiple signs of impairment during his roadside evaluation.

Even with a lot on his plate, friends say Woods hasn't given up on his career. Sources told PEOPLE that Woods is determined to play competitive golf again, and his main goals right now are to get his pain management under control and to stick to a steady fitness routine so he can safely get back on the course. Woods is expected to address his ongoing legal matters in a Florida court next month.
