Kobe Bryant Turns Back Hands of Time With Poster Dunk

The Black Mamba still has some venom left.

Clint Capela will never forget Kobe Bryant.

With this being his final season, the Black Mamba doesn't jump out of the gym like he used to, but on any given night, he could still get up in the air and throw down a dunk, making a poster out of someone.

That someone was Capela on Thursday night. When the Houston Rockets' 6-foot-10 power forward jumped to challenge a driving Bryant at the rim, the 17-time NBA All-Star rose to the occasion — literally — and posterized his defender for his first dunk of the 2015-16 season.

See, despite being 37 years old, the Black Mamba still has some venom left.

He wound up with 22 points, but his Los Angeles Lakers fell to the Rockets, 107-87.

Capela being on the receiving end of Bryant's poster didn't mark the only keepsake from the future Hall of Famer in the game, though.

Bryant took some photos before the game with Game's sons in a moment that left the rapper speechless.

The NBA could give fans even more memories of Bryant by naming the five-time champion to the NBA All-Star Game's Western Conference squad in February.

Bryant spoke about that possibility with ESPN earlier this week, but it's not like he's stressing it if he doesn't make the cut.

"I mean, it would be great to play in it. If I'm not in it, I'm not going to beat myself up over that either," Bryant said. "I'll support the game no matter what. Support the players no matter what."

Despite averaging a respectable 16.7 points in his 20th NBA season this year, Bryant is shooting a career-low 33.9 percent from the field.
