Haters: Broncos' Brandon Marshall Loses Another Endorsement Deal

And Russell Simmons has something to say about this.

Brandon Marshall kneeling during the national anthem last Thursday as a nod of support for Colin Kaepernick's stance against violence and racism in America wound up costing the Denver Broncos linebacker big time.

After the silent protest, Marshall, 27, lost his endorsement deal with the Air Academy Federal Credit Union.

And now, the Super Bowl champion has lost yet another endorsement deal.

USA Today Sports is reporting that CenturyLink has severed ties with the fifth-year NFL veteran over his stance during the national anthem last week.

"We completely respect Brandon Marshall's personal decision and right to take an action to support something in which he strongly believes," CenturyLink said in a statement, as reported by USA Today. "America is anchored in the right of individuals to express their beliefs. While we acknowledge Brandon's right, we also believe that whatever issues we face, we also occasionally must stand together to show our allegiance to our common bond as a nation. In our view, the national anthem is one of those moments. For this reason, while we wish Brandon the best this season, we are politely terminating our agreement with him."

Despite having lost two endorsement deals and being on the receiving end of hateful and racist remarks on social media, Marshall is sticking to his convictions, as evidenced by his Instagram post on Monday.

Although the loss of two endorsement deals will hurt Marshall's bank account, one mogul was inspired by Brandon's courage and wants to help the player out in support.

Upon learning that Marshall had lost a second endorsement, Russell Simmons took to his Instagram account and vowed to offer Brandon an endorsement deal for his RushCard.

Salute to Uncle Rush on this gesture! That's big.

Brandon deserves some recognition and support.

Marshall also revealed to his Twitter followers that he'll be speaking with the Denver police chief on Tuesday.
