DJ Khaled Goes Gold
When DJ Khaled titled his single featuring Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and Drake "I'm on One," he must have known just where that song would end up. The combination of the rappers talents and Khaled's unbeatable hustle brought the song to the number one position on the Billboard Hip Hop and R&B charts. It has sold over 500,000 copies, earning it a Gold certification from the RIAA.
"This is like one of the fastest #1 records. That's fast and it's still selling, it ain't gonna stop selling. I'm excited man," the Miami-based DJ told allhiphop.com. In a video posted to the site, DJ Khaled said the song went gold in six weeks. "We're gonna need like two or three more of these because it looks like this is going to go three million," he said.
DJ Khaled's We the Best Forever album is in stores today (7/19). It features Chris Brown, Keyshia Cole, Ludacris, T-Pain and Birdman, among others.
