Ohio State's J.T. Barrett Tried to Pull 'You Know Who I Am' Card During DUI Arrest

Quarterback's attempt didn't work with a police officer.

It usually doesn't work, but some celebrities and athletes try anyway.

TMZ Sports is reporting that when Ohio State's J.T. Barrett was stopped at a DUI checkpoint on Halloween — and subsequently arrested for DUI — he played the "Do you know who I am?" card with the police officer involved. It didn't work.

Obtaining dash cam footage from Barrett's arrest, the Buckeyes' quarterback tells the officer that he hasn't had anything to drink that night. But the officer, smelling alcohol on his breath, conducts several field sobriety tests before arresting him.

That's when Barrett says, "I'm the quarterback of Ohio State ... officer, there's nothing you can do?"

The officer responds: "My intention is to not take you to jail. That's about the best I can do for you."

In the backseat of the police car, Barrett yells to himself, "F***! F***!"

Fellow Ohio State QB Cardale Jones eventually picks Barrett up.

TMZ released this exclusive footage two days after Barrett pleaded guilty Tuesday to operating a vehicle under the influence, ordered to pay a $400 fine and have his license suspended for six months.

Despite the incident, Barrett will be able to play against Illinois on Saturday.
