Lil Wayne’s Alleged Book Treatment Has a Working Title
Lil Wayne's apparently settled on a plan for his rumored memoir, and it's not only filled with jail cell confessions, there's also poignant words of advice.
Gone Till November (an edited down version of his original working title, Gone Till November: Eight Months on Rikers Island, and a lift from his "Miss Me" lyrics) will include such anecdotes as the time prison guards came in and performed a body cavity search, then stomped on his cereal box; and the day his lawyer came to visit him — a bright spot in his forced vacation.
"Tonight's menu was noodle soup and a Doritos burrito. Yeah! Made it myself," he reportedly wrote after seeing his attorney. Later, that same day, however, "The guy below me yelled all night, 'Yo, f**k you Weezy!'"
There was also the time when Drake visited and told him that he had sexual relations with Wayne's girlfriend (the day before she and Weezy coupled up, of course).
"Love is blind," Wayne wrote in response, "that's why I say make sure that b***h is a seeing eye dog."
According to TMZ, Wayne is currently shopping the book. A pre-order version of it first appeared a few years ago and was to be distributed via Grand Central Publishing. No word yet on why it was shelved. He may be in talks with Wyclef about the name.
