Look: Simone Biles and US Women's Gymnastics Squad Win Olympic Gold Medal in Team Competition

History being made in Rio.

If Simone Biles is going to win the most gold medals — five — in women's gymnastics during a single Olympic Games, she had to secure her first.

The 4-foot-9, 19-year-old sensation did that just Tuesday in Rio de Janeiro, leading the U.S. women's gymnastics squad to a dominating, eight-point gold medal victory in the team final competition.

Check them out in their gold-medal glory.

Biles punctuated the rout win with a scintillating 15.8 on the final floor exercise, giving her the team competition's highest score.

After Biles's unreal floor routine, she and her teammates — Gabby DouglasLaurie HernandezAly Raisman, and Madison Kocian — huddled up and yelled out, "We are the Final Five!"

Previously, the young ladies had been tight-lipped about their nickname, but were more than happy to unleash it to the world after their dominating victory.

Douglas and Raisman are now the only two U.S. women to have won three Olympic gold medals.

This squad is arguably the best women's gymnastics team ever, with Biles in position to claim the title as the best women's Olympic gymnast of all time.
