While Kylie Jenner does not make music (unless you believe the conspiracy theories about Terror Jr, which I fully do), she was expected to attend the American Music Awards on Sunday, November 20. But Kylie was a no-show. What happened?

Her Italian greyhounds, Norman and Bambi, are apparently lovers and on Sunday, Bambi gave birth to two little pups. Jenner plans to keep the dogs, named Blue and Fawn.

They are really, really cute. And the best excuse for getting out of plans maybe ever.

It is somewhat surprising that Kylie’s dogs were able to have puppies, especially considering that in California it’s the law that the average pet owner must spay or neuter their animals by the time they’re four months old. But then again, when were the Kardashians ever average? And given Kylie’s penchant for Snapchatting while driving, it’s evident that she is not a fan of responsible California citizenry. But whatever. Blue and Fawn are, after all, really, really, really damn cute.
