Kyrie Irving is apologizing for comments he made following a loss to the New York Knicks.
After being wished a happy Thanksgiving by a reporter, Irving reportedly said he doesn’t celebrate the holiday before saying, “F**k Thanksgiving.”

people are now coming to his defense though, particularly because Irving has Native American roots
Kyrie Irving’s late mother was a descendant of the Standing Rock Sioux tribe. Over the past few years, the Celtics pointguard has embraced his heritage, including getting a tattoo of the tribe's logo on his neck.
In August, Irving took part in a Lakota naming ceremony and was given dubbed "Little Mountain."
