Nelly and Jeremih Got One for the Ladies With 'The Fix'
Nelly is jumping on the DJ Mustard wave (with a little help from Mike Free) and hoping to catch a hot single for the summer.
“The Fix,” which premiered on an episode of Nelly’s BET reality show Nellyville, is an interpolation of Marvin Gaye’s 1982 classic “Sexual Healing” and it features Jeremih. Some Gaye loyalists might feel a type of way about it, but Nelly isn’t disrespecting the Motown legend. He’s rather modernizing his words as a feel-good anthem to get some rotation in the clubs.
“The Fix” will be available for download on Aug. 14, but you can check out the lyric video below.
