WWE Superstar Curtis Axel Calls LaVar Ball a 'Dumb Ass' After His 'Raw' Appearance

"It was embarrassing."

LaVar Ball taking over WWE's Monday Night Raw with his sons Lonzo and LaMelo set the internet on fire with hilarious reactions earlier this week. But one WWE Superstar wasn't impressed at all.

After seeing Mr. Ball take off his shirt and flex during a segment on The Miz's Miz TV on RawCurtis Axel tweeted and asked his fans, "Who the hell is this dumb ass?" A third-generation Superstar, Axel also warned the controversial basketball dad to stay away from pro-wrestling.

But Axel was just warming up, as he continued to bash the Balls' appearance on Raw, while speaking with 93X Half-Assed Morning Show in Minneapolis, as reported by Cageside Seats.

"They don't need to be on TV. Get them off. It was embarrassing," Axel said. "Looking at that from my perspective, it was funny backstage looking at it, but that's not something that ... you know, this is my opinion. The kids watch this show. It's a kid's program, we took it down to PG-13 and made everything kid-friendly, right? And for someone to come on there and grab the microphone and go off and do something outlandish like this and you were told... I guarantee they were told not to do it — it's embarrassing."

With the latter, Axel is referring to 15-year-old LaMelo telling his dad to "beat that n***** ass" live on Raw to which WWE later released a statement saying, "The inappropriate language used by a guest during the ‘Miz TV’ segment was not scripted nor reflects WWE’s values.”

Axel felt like LaVar and LaMelo's Raw appearance was a slap in the face to the wrestling business.

"And yeah, I watched it backstage and I was embarrassed," he continued. "Growing up in the family business like this and seeing some guy ... the whole family to me. Granted, you know the kid’s gonna be a superstar or whatever but the dad and the other guy, they do this on a program where my family’s busted their ass — it embarrasses me and it pisses me off. It sucks."

The Balls' appearance on Raw this past Monday night at the Staples Center in L.A. came just four days after the Los Angeles Lakers selected Lonzo with the second overall pick in the NBA Draft.
