The childhood sweethearts honored their Louisiana roots with a custom welcome rodeo before exchanging vows in front of a stunning white rose altar.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith and his longtime partner, Mya Danielle, celebrated their wedding on June 13 during a beautiful black-tie ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

In exclusive details shared with PEOPLE magazine, the couple, both 27, explained that they chose the location because it already holds a special place in their hearts. They take a family trip to the resort every year with their two daughters, 2-year-old Kyse and 1-year-old Kali, making the venue a natural choice to honor their family traditions.

The wedding weekend kicked off with some family time at Magic Kingdom Park, followed by a Western-themed welcome party on June 12 called the Dukes and Boots Welcome Rodeo. The evening paid tribute to their shared Louisiana roots—the couple first met back in middle school at track meets between their rival schools—and featured a traditional crawfish boil, custom cowboy hats and music from Louisiana's own Kool DJ Supamike.

For the Saturday ceremony, the couple established a sophisticated black-and-white theme, asking their 135 guests to arrive in all-black attire to create a striking atmosphere. Smith walked down a winding black aisle to Soul For Real's "Candy Rain," while Danielle made her entrance to John Legend's "So High," accompanied by live instrumentalists. Before walking down the aisle, the couple shared a private moment to exchange handwritten vows, later reciting traditional vows at an altar set against a wall of white roses. The upscale reception also featured a 7-foot-tall wedding cake.

The guest list included a long lineup of NFL stars. Smith's Eagles teammate, quarterback Jalen Hurts, was in attendance, alongside New England Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown, Las Vegas Raiders linebacker Nakobe Dean, Denver Broncos wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, Denver Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain II, Cincinnati Bengals safety Jordan Battle, Arizona Cardinals linebacker Mack Wilson Sr., Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Jahan Dotson, Atlanta Falcons cornerback A.J. Terrell, Minnesota Vikings cornerback Isaiah Rodgers and former football player Parris Campbell.

The celebration marks a beautiful new chapter for the couple, who got engaged on New Year's Eve in 2024 and have enjoyed growing together since childhood.
