A white man who previously posted a racist video to Instagram about using the N-word in a crowded bar has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a Black man in Pittsburgh.

Joden Rocco, 24, was charged with homicide and possessing an instrument of crime in connection with the fatal stabbing of, Dulane Cameron Jr., 24, reported the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Just before 2 a.m. on Sunday, Rocco approached PNC Park, where he confronted Cameron and his friend Trei Hendon. According to surveillance video from Tequila Cowboy, Rocco tried to enter the restaurant’s Little Red Corvette bar, but was denied entrance. He then left and encountered Carmeron and Hendon. 

According to police, Rocco was seen on surveillance videos bouncing on the balls of his feet as he walked, “appearing to be very aggressive.” Then out of nowhere, he began attacking Cameron and Hendon. Cameron was stabbed in the neck and died shortly after, the arrest affidavit said.

Rocco was then seen on the videos hiding in the bushes before he waved down an officer to give him a ride home. He was later identified as the stabbing suspect by a witness.

Over the past four years, Rocco has been arrested several times on charges ranging from public drunkenness to assault.

In the 16-second video posted to Rocco’s Instagram story, the suspect stated he wanted to visit bars and see how many times he could use the N-word before the bartender would throw him out.

“We’re playing a game … how many times we can say [N-word] to the bartender before we get kicked out,” Rocco said after revealing he’d already been kicked out of one bar.

A spokesman for Pittsburgh police did not respond to requests for comment about whether investigators had seen the Instagram post.

He faces a preliminary hearing on the homicide charge on Aug. 31.
