After giving fans a 30-day period to help fund their final album, TLC has no reason to worry as their die-hards have managed to finish the task in three. The girl group's Kickstarter fundraiser surpassed its set goal of $150,000, proving that new music from the '90s group is definitely in high demand.

In the early stages of the project, T-Boz explained why they decided to go the fundraising route, explaining that it was a direct opportunity for them to connect with their fans in a way that hasn't been done before: "When we heard about Kickstarter, we were like,'Uh oh, this is something we can do together with the fans. It's creative, it's different, it's innovative," she told BET.com. "Kickstarter's raised over a billion dollars for other artists... It's outside of the box and we've been known to do that."

Chilli saw it as a way for them to more intimately share more of themselves with their fans through the prizes that can be won with donations: "What we wanted to do was keep it authentic," she said. "The fans really know us pretty well... We wanted to reward them with stuff like that. When you pledge $5 or more, you can get involved with helping to choose a song you want to be remixed. They're going to be in this with us."

From everyday fans to famous faces like Katy Perry, who donated a whopping $5,000 to the campaign, TLC's comeback is highly anticipated, to say the least. Based on the new prizes that have been included to the growing list, the "Dark Horse" singer's generous donation makes her eligible for a bunch of perks from TLC, including a slumber party with Chill and T-Boz.
