A woman charged with stealing a $30,000 watch from DMX has accused the rapper of sexual assault. DMX has not been taken into custody, and while police are investigating the woman's claims, those close to the incident are denying them completely.
Costa Mesa police stated that they responded to a 6:44am report that DMX and the 25-year-old woman were arguing in front of the Ayres Hotel in Costa Mesa, California.
According to the report, DMX met the young woman at a Hollywood club the night before, and later invited her, and several others, back to his hotel room. The police were called early in the morning when someone realized that the woman had made off with the expensive watch, along with some cash. Police found her and arrester her for grand theft.
Costa Mesa police told TMZ that it was not until the young woman was in cuffs did she tell police about the alleged sexual assault. Those close to the incident are denying her claims, saying that the two were never alone in the hotel room, and that the two never hooked up while there.
DMX has yet to make a statement regarding the incident and while he does have a diverse history of law-breaking, at this point it appears that there is very little evidence to support the young woman's claims against him.
