Will the Seattle Seahawks' Entire Team Sit During the National Anthem This Sunday, 9/11?

Here's what wide receiver Doug Baldwin and linebacker Bobby Wagner are saying.

After Colin Kaepernick first sat during the national anthem two weeks ago, his teammate Eric Reid joined the San Francisco 49ers' quarterback in kneeling during the "Star Spangled Banner" a week later.

That same Thursday night last week had Seattle Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane sitting during the national anthem in support of Kaepernick's stance against violence and racism in America.

Well, could that be the tip of the iceberg with more players joining in?

The Seattle Times is reporting that the entire Seahawks' team could sit during the national anthem before their 2016 season-opening home game against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, which just so happens to be Sept. 11.

According to the newspaper, Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin is thinking about sitting during the national anthem and linebacker Bobby Wagner alluded to a possible team-wide silent protest during the "Star Spangled Banner" on Sunday.

“I have [considered it],” Baldwin told the Seattle Times about possibly joining Lane in sitting during the anthem. “I want to make sure I get all of my ducks in a row before I do so.’’

Wagner added: “Anything we want to do, it’s not going to be individual. It’s going to be a team thing. That’s what the world needs to see. The world needs to see people coming together versus being individuals.”

The linebacker continued, saying: “Whatever we decide to do will be a big surprise.”

To that Baldwin shared that the team's locker room has discussed the entire roster taking the stance.

How powerful of a statement would it be if the entire Seahawks' team took Kaepernick's stance Sunday?
