'The Real' Host Jeannie Mai Is Not Here For Cardi B And Offset's Engagement

Is the newly single talk show host being a hater?

Cardi B and Offset are still riding high off of their recent engagement. However, not everyone is ecstatic about their big news.

Critics have taken to social media to discuss the couple's relationship, with many citing their ages — both 25 — as all the more reason they should not tie the knot so early on. The latest to express this sentiment is The Real co-host Jeannie Mai.

During their "Girl Chat" segment, the panel of ladies shared their opinions on the hip-hop couple's engagement news with Jeannie, who recently announced her divorce from her longtime husband, interjecting that the "Bodak Yellow" rapper needs to slow things down a bit with her man.

"Nobody feels like... it's a little fast?" she asked her co-hosts. "I guess for me, I mean, I've said it before on the show, it has nothing to do with Cardi, it has nothing to do with who he is... It's just, when you get married before 30, you're a different person in your 20s."

She then spoke directly to the femcee through the TV, offering her some advice on what to do next.

"So, I just say, Cardi, congratulations," she said. "Take your time. Take your time, don't rush into anything. Like, enjoy the engagement even. Like, don't hurry so much."
