Former Destiny's Child singer LaTavia Roberson addressed a longstanding misconception about her. After her former group member Beyoncé's historic Vogue magazine cover was released, Roberson attempted to set the record straight about rumors that have been plaguing her for sometime now.

Venting some frustrations, Roberson asked, "How come I'm always attacked if I like or comment on a post featuring Beyonce, Kelly Toya or Michelle? I'm looking at social just like the rest of 🌍. If I like I'm going to double tap or cmment whichever one is best!"

Addressing the rumors online, she continued, "Stop painting this picture of me as the bitter one!!!"

Back in May, Roberson took to social media expressing how proud she was of her former band mates despite the public's attempts to portray her as bitter. "“Ppl call me the bitter one but how can I be bitter when I’m so proud of everyone in this picture... We created a legacy that can’t be touched. ALL 4 of us. We have a bond that no one can understand. I can’t compare my chapter 36 to Kelly’s chapter 36 or Beyoncé or LeToya’s so why does the world compare us?"
