Black Twitter Made a New Hashtag to Continue Going In on Rich Homie Quan

Twitter continues to roast the rapper for last night's atrocity.

Published July 12, 2016

The internet can be an unforgiving place at times.

Rich Homie Quan has been facing backlash since messing up the lyrics of Notorious B.I.G.’s classic song “Get Money” during his performance at last night’s VH1 Hip Hop Honors.

Twitter basically had a field day after this happening, saying that people at VH1 need to be fired and that Quan can’t recover from disrespecting Biggie by doing a less-than-perfect tribute.

In addition to the backlash, Black Twitter started a guilty-pleasure hashtag, #RichHomieKaraoke, to keep the trolling going. Some of the roasts are absolutely hilarious while others miss the mark a little bit.

Users have been tweeting iconic rap lyrics and flubbing them as part of the Twitter game to continue roasting Quan, with the hashtag trending for a good part of the day.
