Despite the numerous allegations regarding physical and verbal abuse against several women, R. Kelly doesn’t seem to be hiding at all. In fact, the R&B crooner is in plain sight and partying like everything is normal. The Pied Piper was recently spotted in the club with his girlfriend Halle Calhoun and Joceyln Savage — one of his alleged captives.

R. Kelly and the two women reportedly snapped a pic at a birthday bash for Snoop Dogg’s wife, Shante Broadus. In a photo, which was posted on The Shade Room, R. Kelly is captured sandwiched between Savage (left) and Calhoun (right).

It’s no surprise Calhoun was pictured with the singer, as the two have reportedly been dating since last year. The 20-year-old is reportedly an aspiring model and entertainer and studies at The Art Institute of Charleston, according to her Twitter account. 

Aside from the clear age gap between Kelly and Calhoun, more eyebrows are probably raised about Savage. In July 2017, news broke alleging that R. Kelly was running a “sex cult” in his guest homes in Atlanta and Chicago. In the BuzzFeed article, the publication spoke to Jocelyn Savage’s father, whom claimed his daughter was being held against her will. Following the initial reports, Savage spoke to TMZ, where she suggested her father was lying and asked to be left alone. Media outlets and critics pointed out that her videos seemed rehearsed, however.

While the new photo does not refute the allegations, it offers a different scenario than what was laid out in the original article. Previous reports stated that the women in Kelly’s group are not allowed to leave the house and are ordered to wear baggy clothes in the company of men. Even so, women have still come forward with horror stories about the violence and abuse they endured while dating the singer.
