Meek Mill's Line About Drake In This New Song Might Raise Eyebrows...

This could be major.

Philly rap star Meek Mill has been fresh out of the Chester State Correctional pen since late-April and is now dusting off his own pen for that new music fans have been itching for.

He hasn't gotten around to unleashing his latest bars out of the studio vault just yet. But, judging by a sneak peek of his “What’s Beef” remix, Meek’s fans, nor those of his former rap foe Drake, are in for an unexpected surprise.

A clip of Meek’s bars on the Notorious B.I.G. record made social media rounds on Monday (May 21) showing Meek flexing his Dreamchasers ice around his neck and an even icier wrist.

“Is we beefin' or rappin’?” he’s heard spitting on the track. “I might just pop up with Drizzy like what’s—…”

The clip ends before he finishes the rest of the lyric, but from the little bit of the bar we do have, it appears that the Meek and Drake beef saga may be reaching its final days. Well, if it hasn’t already, considering Meek’s recent commentary on the OVO Sound boss during his first The Breakfast Club interview.

“He put good energy in the air,” Meek said of Drizzy’s concert shout out. “What happened happened. We moved past that. I think we'll have a conversation next time we see each other, and get it going.”

He added that he doesn’t necessarily believe Drake was reaching out to him for a truce, per say, but believes it would only make sense for them to bury the hatchet after so long. Drake hasn’t addressed those sentiments just yet, but our hope now is that the “God’s Plan” rapper’s feelings are mutual.
