Drake’s Tearful Message To This Fan Who Passed Away Is Painfully Heartbreaking
As OVO Sound chief Drake wraps up his Aubrey & The Three Migos tour, the Toronto megastar has unfortunately received devastating news about Kay, a 22-year-old superfan who he’d grown to love, cherish, and now, painfully mourn.
Drizzy found his way to Kay through the Make A Wish Foundation, though the condition she suffered from is not clear. Upon his first meeting with her, as he explains in a new Instagram post dedicated to her, Drake broke down in tears after praying for young Kay with her dad. Sadly, the Scorpion rapper finds himself tearful again, but this time, filled with grief for the passing of one of his closest fans.
Drizzy shared a touching photo of his last encounter with Kay at the hospital...
In the picture, he holds a tissue up to his face while sitting beside a smiling and visibly contented Kay—the same aforementioned photo he reflects on crying tears of joy in. On the contrary, the delighted young fan is beautifully ecstatic as she smiles beside him in her black OVO shirt. “We met through make a wish and we built a genuine bond you would text me and check on me while I was on tour and tell me positing things and share your dreams and goals,” Drizzy wrote in his special message for her. Though the fondest of memories comfort him now, he admitted that there’s still one moment he regrets recently.
‘I am sorry I missed your text on my birthday,’ he continued…
“That’s eating my soul right now but you know how much I loved you and was looking forward to seeing you after tour. I don’t know why I am writing this on IG I just need to get it out cause it’s sitting heavy on my heart. Will remember you forever K!”
