Birdman Has Taken Extreme Measures In Regard To Lil Wayne's Tour Bus Shooting...
Back in October, it was reported that Birdman and Young Thug were under investigation for conspiring against Lil Wayne during his 2015 tour bus shooting. A leaked phone call seemingly connected the Cash Money legend to the accused shooter, Jimmy "PeeWee Roscoe" Winfrey. Winfrey was Thugger’s manager who received multiple calls from the rapper, minutes before the shooting.
Alvin Lewis, the driver at the time of the incident, claimed that Weezy's bus was shot up after his team and Winfrey's clique got into an altercation at a nightclub. According to Lewis, Baby told Winfrey, "Time for you to come out here and get your money. You did everything you could do, boss."
However, sources close to Baby denied his involvement in the collusion.
Now, the “Respek” emcee is seeking to cease all communication regarding the case.
Despite Winfrey being sentenced to 20 years, some have reported his conviction was overturned while others are stating he's serving a reduced sentence. Lewis sued Baby, Thugger as well as Winfrey, Cash Money and Young Money. As a counterclaim, Birdman wants a gag order in place to suppress the depositions and prevent Lewis from speaking on it, in court and to the media.
The case is currently on hold until further notice.
