Beyonce's 'Homecoming' Netflix Film Trailer Has The Internet In A State Of Emergency

The Queen Bey strikes again!

It’s official—Beyoncé is coming to a silver screen stream near you, and she’s bringing her history-marking, HBCU-saluting, Black girl magical Coachella performance of 2018 with her.

Teased over the weekend with a promo photo that simply read “Homecoming," we now learn that the docu-style film will dive into Bey’s legendary performance at California’s renowned arts and music festival. The headlining experience was the first of its kind as Bey became the first Black female headliner ever in the history of Coachella, drawing a roaring crowd of thousands to the stage as she levitated Black royalty, Black education, Black instrumentation and Black elevation for the entire world to see.

Thus, the Queen Bey and Netflix joined forces for all of us to relive the magic in a more intimate manner with behind-the-scene scoops, never-before-seen footage, choreography rehearsals, performance structuring and all of the most memorable moments leading up to the show. Maya Angelou’s voice opens up the nearly two-minute clip with a narration on Black representation and race in its most excellent, humanistic and ascensive forms. From there, viewers can also see candid moments with Bey’s high-powered dance troupe, crowd-rocking marching band and squealing, Coachella-going BeyHivers. We even get a sneak peek of the first Carter heiress, Blue Ivy Carter, after her mommy’s captivating choreo skills.

As revealed in the clip, Homecoming will be available on April 17, which is only a little over a week away. But now that the trailer has dropped and fans are flashing back to the ceremonial Coachella experience, the anticipation is busting the BeyHive’s nest to pieces.

See for yourself what’s to come from the official Homecoming trailer and how fans are losing it all over the internet below:
