Tour Busted: Musicians Whose Wheels Have Been Raided

Wiz, Snoop, Weezy and more stars stopped by the law.

Nelly - With their reputation for being vehicles of debauchery, tour buses are easy targets for police raids. Here are a few celebrity rides that have attracted some unwanted passengers. This week, Nelly was arrested on drug charges after a raid of his tour bus in Tennessee turned up "five colored crystal-type rocks that tested positive for methamphetamine, as well as a small amount of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia," according to authorities. The St. Louis rapper is fighting the claims, saying he has nothing to do with the illegal substances allegedly on board. (Photo: Isaac Brekken/Getty Images for Nightclub & Bar Media Group)

2 Chainz - In one of the most epic tour bus raids we've ever heard, 2 Chainz and his crew found themselves in a nine-hour standoff with Oklahoma police in 2013. The rapper refused to let authorities enter the bus, he said, on principle. "This s**t will make u go crazy," Chainz tweeted immediately after the incident. "Our bus gets pulled [over once] a week and they always say 'I smell weed I need to search ur bus'. S**t gets tiring." (Photo: Graham Denholm/Getty Images)

Snoop Dogg - Amazingly, exactly two years after Willie Nelson was caught with pot in Texas, Snoop's tour bus was pulled over and searched on the exact same road. Police found three prescription bottles filled with marijuana cigarettes and Snoop admitted that all three of them were his.  (Photo: Daniel Boczarski/Getty Images for HBO Game of Thrones)

Lil Wayne - In 2007, just hours after performing at his first major concert in New York City, Weezy's tour bus was pulled over and the rapper was arrested when cops found an unlicensed gun on board. He served a year behind bars in 2010 as a result. But that wasn't the only time Wayne got in trouble on his tour bus. His wheels got raided in Arizona in February 2008, attacked by fans in August 2009 and stopped by border patrol — who found marijuana on board — in December 2009. (Photo: Prince Williams/FilmMagic)
