No New Memes - Drake's bars put a bullying Meek Mill in check, but the social media onslaught on the Philly rapper that followed really nailed the dreamer's coffin. Twitter and Instagram let Nicki's opening act have it with a barrage of memes and vines which Drake then cleverly posted on the Jumbotron during OVO Fest. The fans spoke as Aubrey left no question for debate who the real winner was on the mic and on the web.(Photos from left: Justin Sullivan/Getty Images, Jonathan Leibson/Getty Images for Samsung)

Comedic Ambition - 50 Cent proved he's the best of both worlds when it comes to battling and can murder you on record and social media. While he musically took an L in his beef with Ross, his comedic and social media standing were at an all-time high in this rap war.Fifty has moved all across the chess board, using Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and more to question Rozay's street credibility and expose a sex tape starring the mother of one of the Miami rapper's children. He even took Ross's other baby mama Tia on a shopping spree that had Twitter and the blogs going nuts. Spawning memes from his relentless verbal and video assaults, Pimpin' Curly proved that there's more than one way to win a battle.(Photos from left: Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images, David Becker/Getty Images for SHOWTIME SPORTS)

Pranksta - 50's non-musical art of war tactics continued when he released footage of Ross's partner DJ Khaled's mother sleeping on her job and inside her home. The YouTube clip "I Just Wanna Tell You What a Psychic Told Me" was released in 2009 (reportedly shot by French Montana) and proved Curtis to be a social media strategist when it came to battle.  (Photos from left: Gabe Ginsberg/Getty Images for BET, Michael Loccisano/Getty Images)

Instagram Eruption - Iggy has a low tolerance when it comes to taking jokes, and Snoop's forwarding of a meme with an albino woman wearing corn rolls tagged "IGGY AZALEA NO MAKE UP" sent the "Fancy" rapper into a Twitter uproar. Iggy lost this "battle" by taking it too personal, calling Snoop an "a**" and autograph hound while the L.A. King fired back with more memes from the Internet as the fans supplied more ammo for his comic relief.(Photos from left: Jason Merritt/Getty Images for iHeartMedia, Frazer Harrison/Getty Images for iHeartMedia)

Westside Story - Gone are the days when rappers had to meet up to see if their rivals were really living the life they talked about. In May, Game hopped in between Lil Wayne and Young Thug's rift and told the Barter 6 creator that he was riding with the Young Money boss.Thug proceeded to send some choice words Game's way and concluded the Instagram message with a person in the background cocking back a pistol. Before getting out of hand, the situation was mediated, but this was almost a case of a beef via social media gone wrong.(Photos from left: Mike Windle/Getty Images for Equinox, Rick Diamond/Getty Images for PUMA)

All That I Got Is YouTube - Ghostface Killah's pen and mic game should never be tested, and the Shaolin swordsman didn't bother hitting the booth when Action Bronson tried to force him into an early retirement.Instead, Tony Starks posted a seven-minute YouTube clip shot on a smartphone threatening the Queens MC and demanding an apology while Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes played in the background. In a beef that never really made it to wax, it was brought to an end with Bronson apologizing on Twitter as Ghost proved his social media skills were up to par.(Photos from left: Kevin Winter/Getty Images, Frazer Harrison/Getty Images for Coachella)

Ayo Technology - Young Buck let his emotions get the best of him when he broke down crying to 50 Cent in 2008. When Fif ousted him from G-Unit, he uploaded the convo to YouTube and it became the trending topic on Twitter and drove blog ratings through the roof. While Buck was still a force lyrically, this checkmate on social media along with 50's iron clad contract nearly derailed the Memphis rhymer.(Photos from left: Michael Loccisano/Getty Images for HBO Latino, Ethan Miller/Getty Images)

The Beef About Nothing - Meek Mill used Twitter once before to jump start a beef when he tried to start a civil war in his own camp. Using his favorite platform, he accused Wale of not supporting him, posting, "Wale just ain't gone tweet a thing about my album.... He's been hating on me long time now ...don't even text me cornball! #UNOTMMG."MMG's residential poet then fired back on Instagram, pleading his case that he always had Meek's back in a truthful prose that raised even more questions about The Philly MC's emotional rants as Wale become the social media victor in this love/hate thing.(Photo: Jason Merritt/Getty Images for Tidal/Roc Nation)

The Massacre - After growing tired of trading shots with Joe Crack on wax, 50 had the Bronx MC leaning back with his social assault. Displaying his new art of war tactics, when Fat Joe released his 2008 album Elephant in the Room, 50 dropped a G-Unit mixtape on the same day called Elephant in the Sand, the cover of which featured Joe on the beach with his shirt off.The comical chess moves continued when Joe dropped J.O.S.E. 2 the next year. 50 unleashed an emergency room skit which blasted over YouTube with him suffering a concussion and "noise poisoning" after listening to Joe's newest works. It's fair to say that Curtis mastered this beef game from all aspects.(Photos from left: Jason Merritt/Getty Images, Bennett Raglin/Getty Images)

Hacker Muzik - Back in 2007 when MySpace was popping, Capo let Tru Life have it after their feud intensified. Jay Z's hired gun put out a mixtape called Tru York, which included artwork of Jim Jones and Cam dressed as half naked drag queens.Thinking outside the box, Jones allegedly had Tru Life's MySpace page hacked and a new cover of Tru's mixtape was splattered across the page with Jigga and his pawn now wearing the female lingerie. Taking it a step further, Jones's tech savvy stans seized the moment by blasting out a fake message from Tru Life apologizing to his followers and blaming the incident on being "broke, dust smoking and bored from driving his '96 Windstar Caravan." The culprit also replaced Tru's music and pictures with Jimmy's during the early stages of the social media wars. (Photos from Left: Bryan Bedder/Getty Images, Paul Hawthorne/Getty Images)
