Game's 18 Best Name Drops On "The Documentary 2/2.5"

The name game continues.

Who Got the Props? - Game has been notorious in the art of “name-dropping” since the birth of The Documentary. In case this term is new to you, “name-dropping” is the act of casually weaving an important (mainly celebrity) name in the middle of a story to establish credibility and/or maintain Hollywood status. “Name-dropping” is Game’s way of storytelling, and he doesn’t shy away from the term. It’s his homage to hip hop as rap’s self-proclaimed biggest fan.The longer he makes music, the more he incorporates iconic names like Dr. Dre and Nas seamlessly into his rhymes. With the release of two new back-to-back albums, The Documentary 2 and The Documentary 2.5, you can imagine the number of name drops 36 songs can accumulate. We saved you some time and picked out 18 that stand out in the double-disc set. —Janice Llamoca(Photo: Blood Money, eOne)
