Adele may rule the charts but Lady Gaga controls the bank.

Even though Alicia Keys seems to be up there on the list of female musicians who are rolling in the dough, partly due to her hand in the production of the new Broadway hit play Stick Fly, she still remains far behind the Born This Way singer.

On Forbes’s list of "The Top Earning Women In Music," Lady Gaga ranks the richest, raking in about $90 million. This number is a result of tours, music sales and strong album sales and endorsements.

Second and third place, respectively, but not close, are Taylor Swift ($45 million) and Katy Perry ($44 million). Adele made $18 million. Keys brought in about $10 million, putting her in Forbes’s top ten.
