Drake Passes the Beatles on Billboard ’s Hot 100 All-Time List

Drizzy leapfrogs legendary band after “Tuesday” gives him 72 singles on the chart.

Drake hit a significant career milestone this weekend, scoring his 72nd hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and surpassing the Beatles in charting singles. The Toronto rapper's featured verse on iLoveMakkonen's track "Tuesday" helped him reach the goal.
Still, despite scoring 72 hits — including tracks on which he was a featured artist — Drake isn't the No. 1 hitmaker of all time quite yet. The new ranking puts him in eighth place, behind (in order) the cast of Glee, Elvis, Lil Wayne, James Brown, Jay Z, Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin
But given the fact that Drake has many productive years ahead of him, there's no doubt the rapper will leapfrog those other artists before long. As of now, he's only 10 hit singles from taking over Jay Z's position.
