Michelle Obama's Spotify Playlist is Perfectly Curated Girl Power

Beyoncé, Esperanza Spalding and Demi Lovato make the cut.

Michelle Obama is all about girl power, and her Spotify playlist is too. To celebrate International Day of the Girl, the White House released the First Lady's music preferences, which we now know include Beyoncé, Demi Lovato and Esperanza Spalding.

Other hits on Mrs. O's rotation include Alicia Keys' "Girl on Fire" and "Bang Bang" by Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj. The first lady also goes old school with TLC's "No Scrubs" and "Survivor" by Destiny's Child. Of course, legendary divas like Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross and Billie Holiday also feature prominently.

FLOTUS TAKES LET GIRLS LEARN INITIATIVE GLOBAL

The International Day of the Girl was designated by the United Nations to promote awareness for gender inequality around the world. The First Lady is also promoting the "Let Girls Learn" campaign to encourage girls' education around the world.
