Chris Brown Refutes TMZ Story About Codeine Addiction Before It Breaks

Breezy knew this one was coming.

Chris Brown has had his struggles over the past few years, however it never seemed that drugs were a major part of them. Now, Breezy wants to let everyone know that they’ve never been a part of his life and even took to Twitter before a subsequent TMZ story broke about his suspected addiction to codeine.

“TMZ is about to run a bogus story tomorrow becuz they aren’t getting any traffic,” the singer relayed during a series of tweets. “They called my publicist about some bulls**t a** story. It’s just sad. Now I’m letting y’all know it’s bulls**t!”

TMZ is sourcing Brown’s friends and family who they claim are “extremely worried” about his alleged addiction. The publication also claims CB is drinking sizzurp around his daughter, Royalty, and they have the pictures to prove it.

Originally, the investigation began due to Chris Brown’s positive test for codeine during a custody battle. It did not affect him, however, because he had a prescription. He began his series of tweets late Monday by letting everyone know about the good in his life and why he doesn’t need drugs to escape it.

“I got a great album coming, having a great time being a father, and also staying out the way!” he claimed via the social media site. “Ima grown man and I live my life on my terms.”
