In a viral video posted to Facebook, an angry white man at a Houston Jack in the Box berates an employee with racially charged attacks over a coupon.

According to KTRK, the unidentified customer became agitated when the worker told him to wait while she verified his coupon for a free hamburger.

"You're about to buy a bus ticket back to where you came from," the man said. "I'm going to get you fired out of here."

This prompted a Black employee to step in and attempt to dissolve the situation.

“She told my son no. She lied her a** off. She thought she could get away with it,” the man told the store manager who tried to intervene.

Although the cashier and manager attempted to tell the man that his order was on the way, he continued to verbally attack her.

“Hey, you are going to get fired,” the man yelled in a video posted by Lupita Rangel. “What’s your name?”

When the employee says her name is Maria, the man continued with racist threats.

“Goodbye Maria. Buy you a ticket back to Mexico,” the customer fumed as he walked out of the restaurant.

The exchange took place at a Houston-area Jack in the Box restaurant near the town of Manvel.

Rangel found the incident so appalling, she posted to her Facebook page.

"Omg! Never thought I'd experience racism so close," Rangel wrote in her Facebook caption.

She told KTRK that she was with her 9-year-old daughter at the restaurant when the irate customer went off. She also said she had to explain to her daughter "why these things are happening
