Dwyane Wade Celebrated His Official Cavs Signing By Having Wine With LeBron

"Cheers, brother."

Reunited and it feels so good. After it was reported that Dwyane Wade was close to signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers earlier this week, the three-time NBA champion officially inked a one-year, $2.3 million contract with the team yesterday, reuniting with his baller brother and former teammate LeBron James.

And D. Wade celebrated his official signing with the Cavs over a glass of wine with King James on Wednesday evening following his first practice with the team.

"Cheers, brother," Wade tells James in the footage below, before the NBA superstars clanked their glasses of red wine.

Although Wade tweeted an official statement, saying it was "an incredibly difficult decision" to accept a buyout from the Chicago Bulls after just one season, "pursuing a fourth championship" alongside King James was too good of a situation to pass up. Of course, the two led the Miami Heat to back-to-back NBA titles from 2012-13.

"There's no better place to be right now to continue to play and compete at the highest level," Wade said in part of his statement. "Cleveland believes in my talents and what I can bring to a championship contender both as a player and leader. I look forward to reuniting and playing alongside my brother LeBron. We've already won two championships together and I hope we win a third."

His full statement can be read below.

And King James' reaction to being reunited with Wade?

Can't wait.

Wade, 35, averaged just 18.3 points per game last season, the 12-time All-Star shooting guard's lowest scoring output since his rookie season in 2003-04.
