Yesterday, The New Yorker unveiled a cover for its issue next week ... and it had Twitter in awe.

That's because it has an illustrated Martin Luther King Jr. kneeling and interlocking arms with Colin Kaepernick and Michael Bennett, who are also kneeling. As if that wasn't a powerful enough statement, the issue, dated January 15, 2018 — Martin Luther King Day — took it to another level.
