South Carolina State Redirects Federal Funds to Keep School Afloat - The financial secrets of South Carolina State University became public after State Inspector General Patrick J. Maley released his report. He discovered that while not fraudulent the university has been misappropriating federal funds to cover up its financial mishaps.
