Dead Red - In order to achieve a sexy red lip, you have to set your lip in the beginning with a primer. That’s the key to a red lip. You can get a great &lt;i&gt;Lip Primer Potion&lt;/i&gt; from &lt;i&gt;Urban Decay&lt;/i&gt;. It contains no color, and it’s meant to simply hold the color in place. Anytime anyone has on a red lip, they have to set the lip first. You won’t use it like a chapstick, but you need something underneath the lip.

Dead Red - In order to achieve a sexy red lip, you have to set your lip in the beginning with a primer. That’s the key to a red lip. You can get a great <i>Lip Primer Potion</i> from <i>Urban Decay</i>. It contains no color, and it’s meant to simply hold the color in place. You don’t want to have to keep going back and touching it up and worrying about whether or not it’s wearing off. If you’re doing a red lip, you don’t want it to be sheer or a semi-red lip. They have a tendency to get a little messy.

Pink Princess - Amber Rose’s bubble gum pink shade can be achieved with the same procedure as the red lip, except you need to wash away your lips. Amber probably puts concealer on her lips. On my clients, to get that really pale pink, I also apply a white eyeliner and I go completely over their lips. It looks crazy, but then you put that pink gloss on top of it. It gives you a really matte, popped-out pink lip. That’s the key.

Go Glow - With the ‘J-Lo glow,’ it’s all about her face, which makes her lips look the way that they do. Whenever you do a J-Lo look, you really have to bronze out your face, do a lot of shimmer and a lot of contouring. Anytime it looks like there isn’t much there, that’s usually the more intricate makeup look. So when it comes down to her lip, it’s all about the rest of her face, first.

They don’t have a lot of glitter in their &lt;i&gt;Lip Glace’&lt;/i&gt;, but it’s more of a shimmer and a sheen. They’re very long-wearing and you don’t have to worry about them being super sticky or waxy.

Killer Kiss - I love the dark lip! Especially in the nighttime. I love the fact that people are starting to get more experimental with color. People are really stepping outside of their comfort zone. It’s pretty easy to do something nude, or something pink, but once someone steps out and does a deep plum or a super dark brown, that just brings 10 times more beauty to it!

Shoutin' Pout - The trends that I’m seeing are a lot of orange lips. Not even peachy lips, but orange. I’m predicting that this will lead us into fall. A really rich, tangerine orange lip. I’ve been seeing that lip everywhere. You can wear it the same as the red lip. With the orange color, you can wear it as a gloss or a lipstick. Victoria Secret has a plethora of orange glosses in their &lt;i&gt;Beauty Rush&lt;/i&gt; line.

To Line or Not to Line - It depends on the lip type. Some people have a natural brown line, some people’s lips are super, super pink. Some people’s lips are a darker berry color. I don’t recommend a lip liner with the lipstick that I’ve recommended because it would change the whole feel of the color. If you want that true color, you need that primer potion because it will wipe out any other color that’s below the surface.

Lip Appeal - The best lip scrub that I’ve come across would have to be my &lt;i&gt;Mary Kay Satin Lips Mask&lt;/i&gt;. It’s really good. You can use that a couple times a week and it gets off all of that dead skin and rejuvenates the lip to bring back the natural moisture.
