Williams Sisters Return to the Court - After being sidelined by injuries Venus and Serena Williams made their return to tennis during this week’s Eastbourne Championships in England. Venus, who hasn’t played in five months due to stomach and hip injuries, defeated her opponent in the second round Wednesday allowing her to advance to the quarter finals. Serena, however, was eliminated in the second round Wednesday by top-seeded Vera Zvonareva. Pryor is accused of receiving expensive gifts, which could cost the school to be penalized heavily by the NCAA. The NCAA investigation has already led to the resignation of popular coach Jim Tressel.

Plaxico Burress Tries to Clean up Image - Shortly after his release from prison on gun charges, former New York Giants receiver Plaxico Burress, the National Urban League and the Brady Center announced that he would work with both organizations to prevent gun violence.
