Jennifer Hudson: Poster Child for Success - Hudson has said, “I didn’t even know I was considered plus-sized until I came to Hollywood, I thought I was the perfect size!” But after she got pregnant with her now 2-year-old son, David, she said she decided to get healthier for herself. The singer and Oscar-winning actress joined Weight Watchers in 2010 and became one of this year’s biggest celebrity weight-loss stories when it was reported that she slimmed down from a size 16 to a size 6. Hudson maintains she didn’t use celebrity trainers or personal chefs, but instead relied on program’s portion-controlled meals and regular exercise regime combination, which helped her exceed her weight loss goal and shed 80 pounds. Jordin Sparks: One Step at a Time - This singer had tongues wagging when she unveiled a new, hot bikini bod on Twitter, which she said was a result of making being active a priority instead of just talking about it. “It was one of those things where I was turning 21 and New Year's was coming and it was like I'm not going to start my resolution on New Year’s day, I'm going to try to start it early and just stick to it.” Sparks got the ball rolling with small changes: “I started slowly by walking the path around my house, and then eventually walking a little bit faster, and then actually going and climbing up the mountain [near my home],” she said. From there, she beefed up her workouts by working with a personal trainer, took Zumba classes with her mom and made small changes in her diet, which resulted in a reported 30 pound lost. Raven told Wendy Williams that stress caused her weight gain during her run on the popular Disney show That’s So Raven, and that the weight loss happened naturally after the show ended.
