The Future Hall of Famer Turns 41 Today  - Happy birthday to the one and only Allen Iverson, who turns 41 today. At 6-feet, 165 pounds, A.I. was arguably the best pound-for-pound baller that the NBA had ever witnessed. That and he was unapologetically himself, bringing hip-hop to the NBA as the league had never seen before. The cornrows, jewelry, baggy clothes and swag... that was all The Answer. So, on this, his born day, we wish the Hall of Famer many more returns by looking back at some of his best highlights. Happy birthday, Bubba Chuck! -By Mark Lelinwalla(Photo: Otto Greule/Allsport)

And the No. 1 Pick in the 1996 NBA Draft Is...   - A celebrated star under coach John Thompson at Georgetown, Allen Iverson's early NBA dreams came true when he was tabbed as the No. 1 overall pick in the 1996 NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers.(Photo: STAN HONDA/AFP/Getty Images)

His Reebok Shoe Deal and Ad With Jadakiss - If there was ever a sports-meets-rap moment, it was Allen Iverson showing off his handles to the bars of Jadakiss for The Answer's Reebok commercial. In fact, A.I. was probably more hip-hop than any other baller who ever played on an NBA court. By the way, this wasn't the infamous Reebok shoot that he walked out on either.(Photo: Reebok)

Crossing Over MJ - Some moments become synonymous with certain athletes. For The Answer, crossing over Michael Jordan in a March 1997 game became a moment forever etched in the minds of NBA fans. Either that or it's hanging up on their walls as a poster to this day. The iconic moment represented a passing of the torch in some ways as well. Although, MJ and his Chicago Bulls would go on to win NBA championships in 1997 and 1998, A.I. was ushering in the league's hip-hop era to the 10th power and it would soon be his time, his league and his world.(Photo: AP Photo/ Karl DeBlaker)

All-Star MVP in 2001 - The Answer scored 15 of his 25 points in the final nine minutes to lead the Eastern Conference to a dramatic rallying win over the West in the 2001 NBA All-Star Game. He was awarded the All-Star MVP for his troubles.(Photo: HEATHER HALL/AFP/Getty Images)

Winning the NBA MVP in 2001 - All A.I. did to be crowned league MVP of the 2000-01 season was average 31.1 points per game. Sheesh. Think about that for a second. Dropping over 30 points per game at 6-0 and 165 pounds soaking wet. Arguably the greatest little man to ever play the game. Here, he accepts his MVP with his mom by his side.(Photo: M. Stepping Over Tyronn Lue - Monday marked the 15th-year anniversary of Allen Iverson stepping over former Los Angeles Lakers point guard and current Cleveland Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue in Game 1 of the 2001 NBA Finals. Iverson made the infamous moment after crossing over Lue and draining a long jumper to help ice Game 1 for the Philadelphia 76ers... although that's the only game they'd win that series, as Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant led the Lakers to a five-game Finals win.(Photo: Jed Jacobsohn/ALLSPORT)

We Talking About Practice!?  - A.I. told BET.com last year that fans yell out "we talking about practice" to him all the time and we more than believe him. That's what happens when you say the phrase 22 times in an infamous 2002 press conference, which took on a life of its own, including being remixed as a song by DJ Steve Porter in a YouTube clip, which has amassed over five million views. What fans didn't know at the time was A.I.'s friend, Rahsaan Langeford, had been violently killed around that time, adding to Iverson's foul mood at the press conference. There was also rumored reports that he was drunk during the moment —  something he has denied. Still... Practice!? We talking about practice!? A.I. will never live that down!(Photo: TOM MIHALEK/AFP/Getty Images)

Calling Foul on the NBA's Dress Code - The cornrows, the jewelry, the baggy shorts and being unapologetically hip-hop... A.I. brought that in full force to the NBA to the point that the league implemented a mandatory dress code of business casual attire for the 2005-06 season as an answer to The Answer. A.I. Iverson even told BET.com last year that he knows the league implemented the rule because of him. (Photo: Vince Bucci/Getty Images)

Four Scoring Titles - The 1998-99 season marked the first of four times that Allen Iverson won the league's scoring title. It was also the first time in his career that A.I. led his Sixers to the playoffs. He'd win the scoring title in back-to-back years from 2001-02, averaging over 31 points in each season, and again in 2005. A.I. was so raw with his ability to drive and finish at the hole, pull up on teams and kill 'em from beyond the arc. Too tough. (Photo: AP Photo/ Miles Kennedy)

Elected Into Hall of Fame - All that was left for A.I. after having his jersey retired was the Hall of Fame. Would he be inducted? You're damn right he would. A.I. joined Shaq as co-headliners of the 2016 Hall of Fame class during an April announcement. Their formal inductions will take place on September 9. Congrats and happy birthday to the one and only Allen Iverson.(Photo: Streeter Lecka/Getty Images)
