In the Morning Screens at BAM - The Brooklyn Academy of Music is launching its fifth year of New Voices in Black Cinema, with a slew of narrative features, documentaries and shorts described as redefining the Black experience in America and the world. One of our buzzworthy pics is In the Morning. The film, which marks writer-director Nefertite Nguvu's debut, tells the complex tale of nine young Brooklyn dwellers over the course of a day, and examines growth and the power of choice and action. Tamar Braxton Still Celebrating - Tamar Braxton was spotted partying over the weekend, following a short stint at the hospital. According to reports, Braxton complained of shortness of breath Thursday and was then rushed to the hospital. It was most likely an anxiety attack, but the singer assures us she is fine. She posted the following on Instagram: Thank you for all for your thoughts and prayers!! I'm all good!!! I'm not nervous about anything and I'm NOT breaking down!! Damon Dash vs. Rachel Roy - Damon Dash got messy on social media, insinuating that his ex-wife Rachel Roy doesn't allow him to see their daughters. The couple, who were married from 2005 to 2009, have two daughters, Ava and Tallulah. Dash posted the following message on Instagram: "miss my babies I better not have to fight to see them because of some lame lawyer like b***h ass. Donnell Suarez @rachel_roy please don’t get caught up in this because Im not playin @ava_dash call me [sic]" He added more in a follow-up message but you get the point. Yikes!
