CBS 46 in Atlanta is reporting that sources tell them they believe there was a hit on Darren "Chip" Lumar, and investigators said the shooter was waiting for Lumar.  Lumar managed to drive himself to the hospital before he died, and sources say he had $4,000 of cash on him when he arrived.

CBS 46 in Atlanta is reporting that sources tell them they believe there was a hit on Darren "Chip" Lumar, and investigators said the shooter was waiting for Lumar. Madea's Sued - Madea’s not supposed to go to jail until Feb. ‘09, but her creator is duking it out in court with a mad Black woman. Donna West is suing Tyler Perry, claiming he stole her story which ended up being made into Perry's blockbuster movie, "Diary of a Mad Black Woman." West wants all the profits from the 2005 film.

Madea Goes to Court - Actor and screenwriter Tyler Perry is set to appear in a real-life drama in December. A lawsuit, filed by Donna West in 2007, claims Perry's "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" was copied and based on an original story she wrote, titled "Fantasy of a Black Woman," back in November 1990. The lawsuit names Perry individually, his company (Tyler Perry Studios) and Lionsgate.

His Lawyer Bailed - The lawyer who has been representing William Balfour, the man accused of killing Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew, has bailed on him. According to Chicago's Sun Times, Joshua Kutnick said he believes Balfour is innocent but that he cannot handle the case any longer.

Staying Behind Bars - It looked liked William Balfour, the ”person of interest” in the Hudson family murders, was going to be released from jail this week due to lack of evidence that he had violated conditions of his parole. However, he's staying behind bars. According to the “Chicago Tribune,” Balfour's current girlfriend told the parole board that he told her that he was involved in the murders.

Worst: Rehab Lindsay - Lindsay Lohan has broken the law more times than one can remember with DUIs and probabtion violations.  However, no jail time for Lohan, only rehab.  She has been in rehab numerous time and is currently scheduled to be released from  Betty Ford Center, a drug and alcohol treatment center, in early 2011.  Good luck to Lindsay in the new year!

Actress Lindsay Lohan, who appeared on "Access Hollywood" this week, was asked how she felt about election night. Her response: "It’s an amazing feeling.
