Bey Beef - Etta James has threatened to whoop Beyoncé's a** during a concert in Seattle. And it's all over her song, "At Last." Bey sang it at President Obama's first Inauguration Ball on Jan. 20, and James was pissed, according to TMZ. She said Bey had "no business" singing the love song she made famous.

‘Psychic’ Friend? - It looks like our girl Vivica A. Fox has been hit especially hard by the global recession, or has she? Fox said she is no friend of the recently revamped "Psychic Friends Network," and has not signed on as its celebrity spokesperson. She alleges that the footage circulating online "is using her unauthorized likeness, footage, voice and photographs as an endorsement of their service."

Houston vs. Hudson - Nevermind the matchup between the Steelers and Cardinals. The question now is who did the best job at belting out the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, Whitney or J. Hud? On iTunes - If you were feelin' Hudson's Super Bowl performance of the "Star Spangled Banner," you can buy it on iTunes. Part of the proceeds from sales of the song will go to the Hudson-King Foundation. That's the fund she set up to care for the needs of families who have lost relatives to violent crimes.

His Brother Was Killed - Police say the 21-year-old brother of Philippine-born apl.de.ap of the Black Eyed Peas was shot in the head early Tuesday. Chief Inspector, Wilfredo Paulo said Joven Pineda Deala was killed while he and his girlfriend were eating in his car parked outside the woman's L.A. home. The gunman and his accomplice escaped on foot.

Released - Former Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is now out of jail. He was released yesterday after serving a 99-day sentence in connection with a sex scandal. Kilpatrick lost 25 pounds while behind bars. He made no statements to the media as he was released.

First Black AG - A little over two weeks ago, the nation saw its first Black president sworn in to office. And now, America has its first African-American Attorney General. Eric Holder is promising to hold Wall Street accountable if it turns out that any fraud contributed to the global financial crisis. Holder says he wants to usher in a new era at the Justice Department.

No More - The two dolls that upset first lady Michelle Obama no longer exist. Doll maker Ty Inc., decided to stop selling the "Sweet Sasha" and "Marvelous Malia" dolls this week after the mom-in-chief said that using her daughters' names was "inappropriate." Michelle Obama's spokeswoman said, "We appreciate the company's response to the matter." Profits from sales of the original dolls will be donated to charity.

Peanut Butter Concerns - Sasha Obama loves herself some peanut butter, and that has President Obama concerned. He says she eats the stuff "probably three times a week," and he doesn't want to have to worry about her getting sick with salmonella. So far, more than 430 products have been recalled. The president is promising that there will be a complete review of the Food and Drug Administration, according to the Associated Press.

Protecting the President - Is it too easy to get close to President Obama? According to the Washington Post, some of the inauguration attendees think so. They say they were shocked at how easily they were able to get access to the president. However, Obama says his security is tight, and it's actually "the hardest adjustment of being president."

Monitoring Obama - The NAACP's new leader says he plans to make sure President Obama keeps his promises on civil rights issues. Benjamin Jealous said that Obama's being Black gives the civil rights group "no advantage." Among the things Jealous says he'd like to see Obama accomplish during his first year in office is to make sure federal bailout funds are fairly distributed, help ease unemployment among Blacks and help make sure minority children have access to good schools.

Man of Steel - Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin may be the second Black coach to win the Super Bowl, but he will be making history when he becomes the first to be welcomed to the White House by a Black president. Tomlin and his team earned the trip to D.C. with a thrilling 27-23 win over the Arizona Cardinals Sunday night in Tampa, Fla. This is the Steelers' sixth Super Bowl win.

Super, Duper Play - He used to sell drugs on the streets of South Florida. Now, Santonio Holmes is part of Super Bowl history. He was the Most Valuable Player of Sunday night's game after making nine catches for 131 yards. On the final drive alone, he made four catches, the last of which clinched the win for his Pittsburgh Steelers. He calls his journey from the streets to the Super Bowl "a wonderful blessing."

Serena By the Numbers - Serena Williams racked up the 20th Grand Slam title of her career when she defeated Dinara Safina at the Australian Open on Saturday. It's her 10th Grand Slam title as an individual. And when you add her eight wins in women's' doubles with her sister Venus and her two mixed doubles wins, it's her 20th overall Grand Slam title. And all of that means that Serena is back to being No. 1.

Baby Badu - Erykah Badu made another addition to her family when she gave birth to a baby girl over the weekend. Badu says she delivered at home after a labor that lasted about five hours. Expecting - Bobby Brown announced this week that he is expecting another bundle of joy with girlfriend Alicia Etheridge. Brown, who recently turned 40-years-old, says he's in a good place, he's sober and very happy. This will be Bobby's fifth child in addition to Bobbi Christina (with Whitney), and three other children with two exes.

Looking Good - A refreshed looking Whitney Houston and her 15-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina, who was getting her cuteness on, were spotted arriving at LAX earlier this week. Currently, Whitney is working on her comeback album. The album is set for release some time this year.
