You Got Served (2004) - Where trailblazing films like Breakin' and Breakin' 2: Electric Bugaloo broke ground for hip-hop-inspired dance flicks in the '80s, the classic You Got Served  defined (and popularized) the hip-hop dance film for the 21st century. Marques Houston and Omarion were the stars of this surprise box office hit about an urban dance crew in a high-stakes competition. On the 13th anniversary of this iconic film, here's a look at the cast that reshaped hip-hop cinema while busting a few moves. (Photo: Screen Gems)

Marques Houston - Cast as dance crew leader Elgin, the singer and former member of child R&B trio Immature, added edge and innocence to the starring role. Since 2003, Marques Houston has steadily maintained a stellar singing career, releasing his last LP, Famous, in 2013. His presence in Hollywood has primarily been in street-dance films, including Boogietown (2010) and Battlefield America (2012). In 2016, Houston moved behind the camera to write and produce two films, Boy, Bye and A Weekend With the Family. He also made headlines for getting baptised as a Jehovah's Witness.(Photo: Ben Horton/Getty Images for BET)

Omarion - Former B2K member Omarion landed the role of David, who co-heads the dance troupe with Houston. Shortly before Chris Brown landed as R&B's dance king, Omarion briefly had the title, as he embarked on his solo career. Quietly, he still releases LPs, including Ollusions (2010) and the upcoming Love & Other Drugs. His other acting credits include Wrong Side of Town and the horror film franchise Somebody Help Me. In 2014, he joined the Love & Hip Hop franchise with his main squeeze Apryl Jones. The couple, who split last year, have two children together. (Photo: Maury Phillips/Getty Images for BET)

J-Boog - Playing the part of dancer Rico was J-Boog. Most fans know him from his stint with B2K and as Marques Houston's cousin. While the singer never landed stardom as a solo artist following B2K's breakup, he did star in dance films like Step Up 2: The Streets (2008) and Steppin: The Movie (2009). Boog got back into the music game last year with the release of his first album, Wash House Ting, after a five-year hiatus.(Photo: Maury Phillips/WireImage)

Lil Fizz - B2K alum Lil Fizz was hired to play dancer Rashann. Following his film debut, the vocalist followed many of his crew members to Steppin: The Movie. His singing career has remained under the radar, having released singles like 2007's "Beds" (featuring Ray J) and 2009's "Bounce" (featuring J-Boog). But his big claim to fame is his gig as a regular castmember on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. (Photo: Maury Phillips/WireImage)

Jennifer Freeman - Actress Jennifer Freeman jumped from the small screen to the silver screen starring as Liyah, Houston's sister and Omarion's love interest. Before the role, Freeman was a star on the hit TV sitcom My Wife and Kids. Since then she hasn't had many film roles, landing in straight-to-DVD dramas such as Falling Away and Jada. However, she has had more luck in television, appearing on hit TV series like One on One, The O.C. and Real Husbands of Hollywood. Last year, she starred in the film True to the Game.(Photo: Maury Phillips/Getty Images for BET)

Meagan Good - The beautiful Meagan Good portrayed the sultry character named, appropriately, Beautiful. Over the last few years, the actress has been making headlines, first when she married Columbia Pictures exec DeVon Franklin in 2012 and then for her thriving film and television career. On television, she played lead in a dramatic series, the short-lived Deception. And, in film, she's starred opposite Will Ferrell in Anchorman 2, and she's gearing up to return in the sequel to the smash romantic comedy Think Like a Man 2.  (Photo: Bennett Raglin/BET/Getty Images)

Steve Harvey - In playing the authoritative yet hilarious club owner and dance battle host Mr. Rad, Steve Harvey added the parental flair to the young cast. As one of the Original Kings of Comedy, Harvey has lived up to his title, pushing his star further into the mainstream. His relationship-advice book, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, became a national bestseller and a hit comedy at the box office. Currently, he's the host of his self-titled talk show and recently made waves for his meeting with President Donald Trump.(Photo:

Wade Robson - Famed choreographer Wade Robson made an appearance as himself in You Got Served. Since getting discovered by Michael Jackson in the early '90s, Robson built a career through dance, choreographing shows and videos for Britney Spears and 'N Sync. Unfortunately, his latest headlines have been for accusing the late King of Pop of molesting him as a child.  (Photo: Amanda Edwards/Getty Images)

Columbus Short - He may have had a bit part as a dancer in the film, but Columbus Short's acting talent moved him far beyond the chorus line. After getting the breakout lead in the hit Black frat step flick Stomp the Yard, Short become a notable talent in Hollywood, winning an Image Award for his role in 2008's Cadillac Records and starring on the hit TV drama Scandal. Unfortunately, things went south for Columbus these past couple of years: he was fired from Scandal amid allegations of domestic violence against his ex-wife, and then faced similar charges from his next partner, Karrine Steffans. The two split last year, and now Short has a baby on the way with his new fiancée, Aida Abramyan. (Photo: Chelsea Lauren/Getty Images for Ermenegildo Zegna)

Raz B - Of course Houston's dance crew had to go up against a rival troupe, whose leader was portrayed by another B2K alum, Raz B. Following his stint with the famed boy band, the crooner released a few singles like "Follow My Lead" and "Go Girl" as a solo singer. His film career went no further than a role in the 2010 dramatic dud Love Sic Diaries and Hype Nation. But he did raise eyebrows in 2007 when he accused B2K's manager, Chris Stokes, of molesting him. In 2013, Raz was attacked at a concert in China, requiring surgery, which subsequently put him in a coma. By a miracle, he survived.(Photo: Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images)

Chris Stokes - Music writer and producer Chris Stokes wrote and directed You Got Served. Following his film directing debut, the former B2K manager wrote, produced and helmed several projects, including Somebody Help Me, Battlefield America and Boogie Town. He also collaborated with Marques Houston in 2016 for the films Boy, Bye and A Weekend With the Family. Stokes was accused of child molestation by Raz B, but denies the allegations.(Photo: Frazer Harrison/Getty Images)
