Hair We Go - Hype Hair magazine’s November 2011 cover girls are the ladies of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta (well, some of them...NeNe Leaks and Kim Zolciak are notably missing from the group shot—guess they weren’t feeling the blonde crop and wigs?). Phaedra Parks, Kandi Burruss, Sheree Whitfield, Cynthia Bailey and a new addition to the bunch Marlo Hampton each played nice and dished on all things hair and beauty.(Photo: Hype Hair Magazine, November 2011)

Kandi Burruss - For the past two seasons this Grammy-Award winning singer has been rocking a short red-highlighted cut, but lately she’s turned the dial down on the edge opting instead for a flowing honey-hued weave. The magazine asked her whether she likes her hair better long or short and she seems to be on the fence. “I like mid-length hair,” Kandi said. “However, lots of people say that longer hair seems to soften me up and I look more dainty and girly. I love my short cuts because they make me stand out and give me a lot more edge.” (Photo: Bravo)

Cynthia Bailey - You never knew what you were going to get with last season’s newcomer Cynthia’s hair. In one scene it would be a spiky wig, in another a slick back, then all of the sudden she’d pull a Rapunzel and bust out a long weave look. Transformations aside, Cynthia told the magazine “I absolutely love Gail Hudson hair products. I also love the new Optimum line from Soft Sheen-Carson. I use the whole entire line.”(Photo: Bravo)

Phaedra Parks - This self proclaimed southern bell is known for wearing wide brimmed hats and headbands, but what lies underneath? Her hairdresser, Karen Boston, stamped that she has “natural virgin hair." “I don’t use any chemicals at all,” Phaedra said. “Therefore I love products like KeraCare Hydrating Shampoo, KeraCare Humecto Conditioner, Avlon KeraCare Cleansing Cream and Pravana Seal and Shine Hydrating mist."(Photo: Bravo)

Sheree Whitfield - Sheree has consistently has some of the best hairstyles of the bunch, thanks in part to her hairdresser, Miss Lawrence. “I workout a lot, so I maintain my hair with frequent salon visits and by sleeping on a satin or silk pillowcase that I take with me when I travel,” Sheree says. The magazine lists a new hairstylist, Lakenya Styles, for Sheree these days and Styles noted she maintains the star's hair by doing “a hot oil treatment and trim at least once a month.”(Photo: Bravo)
