My Brother's Keeper - On Friday (April 15), President Obama hosted a meeting of the minds, as some of music’s brightest stars were invited to speak with Obama on Justice Reform as part of his #MBK initiative. Among those guests were DJ Khaled, Ludacris, Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, J. Cole, Janelle Monae, and many others. The artists’ reactions were similar to those of their fans meeting them, which were pretty cute and sincere. However, the greatest takeaway from this meeting was how hopeful the artists were to make a difference. History was made in that conference room, I'm sure that room has never looked the way it did today. This was my first time ever visiting the White House, I missed that particular school field trip.
