Shawn Marrion Reality Show - Prior to his team advancing to the NBA finals, Dallas Mavericks forward Shawn Marion announced Wednesday morning that he’s working on a reality show about himself and the women in his family. Should Kobe Have Had a Say? - Last week’s hiring of former Cavaliers coach Mike Brown to fill the Lakers’ head coaching position, vacated by Phil Jackson, raised a few eyebrows amongst fans with many thinking that team’s superstar, Kobe Bryant, should have been consulted first. NFL Coaches Want Strike Over - The NFL Coaches Association filed a brief with the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Minneapolis on Wednesday backing the players who are fighting to end the lockout and resume business as usual, according to the Associated Press. "To meet management's expectations, coaches need adequate time in the offseason to prepare their players for the season ahead," the filing said. Vick’s Dog-fighting House Sold - The former Hampton, Virginia, home of Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, where his infamous dog-fighting ring was housed, was sold recently to an animal rights group for $595,000. The plan is to turn the home into a dog rehabilitation facility.
