Nina Joins the Block - The Internet tried it but it could not stop the Nina Simone biopic from seeing the light of day. After stills of Zoe Saldaña arrived, depicting the famed singer in what many called blackface, the Internet lost its collective mind.To add insult to injury, the star of the movie herself went out publicly to talk, not so glowingly, about the film's lack of focus.Here we are, almost three years later, and the movie Nina will be out for the world to see on April 22, but how will it stack up against all these other music biopics?
