Hailing from Chicago, King Louie went from selling mixtapes in schools to becoming one of his city's top acts. With a little help from YouTube and a huge endorsement from Kanye West, who mentioned King L at the end of his verse on Chief Keef's "Don't Like (Remix)," the rapper inked a deal with Epic Records in 2012 and is working on his major debut, Dope & Shrimp.
