After winning televised British talent competition, The X Factor, in 2006, Leona Lewis has released two albums and sold nearly 10 million worldwide.  Lewis’ debut single, a cover of Kelly Clarkson’s “A Moment Like This,” became the UK’s fastest selling song in 2006, logging more than 50,000 downloads in thirty minutes.  A vegetarian since 12, Lewis is outspoken on animal rights issues and refused to be associated with a store that sold animal fur, prompting PETA to name her “Sexiest Vegetarian” in 2009.
